Caudron C.460 Scale Laser Cut Short Kit

A 24" span Scale Greve Racer. One of the sleekest of the Golden Age Air Racers. This plane came over from France and dominated the 1936 National Air Races in Los Angeles, winning both the Greve Race and the Thompson Race.

Construction is mainly 3/32" sticks for the fuselage with both 3/32" and 1/16" stringers. The wing is 1/8" square Leading Edge, and 1/8"x3/8" Trailing Edge with four 1/16" square stringers (this is plenty strong). Symmetrical ribs are provided for the tail surfaces. The wing is built as a one-piece slip-in that should be cemented to the fuselage.

I recommend a 9" Superior Prop (a plastic P-30 prop will also work) and 2 loops of 3/16" for power.
