Miss Production OT Stick Short Kit

Consider this C Class OT Stick a mini-Gollywock.  It was designed by Wally Simmers and Lou and Ed Vargo in 1941 and has many of the same characteristics are the Gollywock models, including the airfoil.  The late Dan Driscoll provided this plan and it was published in the MaxFax newsletter.  I am doing this short kit as a tribute to Dan.

With its 28" wingspan and similar overall length, it is also eligible for the current P-30 Event (of course, you need to adhere to the prop and rubber restrictions for P-30).

UPDATE on my Miss Production:  I built it in February 2023, tested it in June, gave it full-power test flights in July, and flew it in P-30 competition in September.  The wing pop-up DT was faulty, so I locked it down.  The glide on the first two flights was poor, so I added a pea of clay to the tail.  Then I wound it up (about 725 turns on the 4-loop of 1/8" P-30 motor) and launched it right into a massive boomer.  I knew it was gone when it settled into a perfect glide.  See the video for part of the 10+ minute OOS flight.
